Centris Technoloiges and PcVue win the “Kinetic Process Innovation Award” for the smart line system deployed at Home Hardware Beauti-Tone Paints in Burford, Ontario. These awards, given by High Tech Views, honor companies whose solutions have made a significant contribution to supporting the growth and success of their customers in industries such as medical, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and chemical.

“This year’s applications were on the cutting edge, ranging from innovative ways to manage the health of the population to technological advances using visual form recognition to enable a sort of Google of the Process Industry. This reflects the ongoing focus on best practices for streamlining business and regulatory processes in the delivery of new and innovative products and services, “said Drew Barrows, Associate Editor of High Tech Views.

The system designed and developed by Centris Technologies integrates the components of the paint filling lines and gives operators complete visibility into the status and performance of the components. The downtimes are listed, and the devices are configured automatically. The customer has moved from a paper-based and responsive management approach to paperless and proactive management.
